The NSC Campus is a landmark development in the context of Ireland and the EU. The project is a privately led venture via a public private partnership. The NSC offers World Class Third Generation Offices & Broadband Infrastructure. The fundamental thrust is to create a global footprint for knowledge based ventures through using innovative networking technologies
The NSC Campus hosts the Network Operations Centre in Cork for the 60km Cork City MAN (48/96 pair fibre ring Metropolitan Area Network) which launched in January 2004.
The building itself was designed specifically for IT and service companies with flexibility and scalability in mind. The NSC Campus features the best of breed in security and is able to provide our clients with 24x7 access. It operates a fresh Air Handling System and a Voice over IP Telephony System, with a centrally manned reception desk. The reception area co-ordinates all postal/courier collections and deliveries, has the ability to answer telephone calls in the tenants company name and would be considered to be the first point of contact for all visitors to the NSC Campus.
The local vicinity of the NSC has seen the development of new shopping and residential complexes, this coupled with its close proximity to the national road network, 2 minutes from the South Ring Road, 10-15 minutes from Cork International Airport and InterCity Rail station allows employees to commute to and from work with limited traffic.
